We all struggle to stay focused and keep God in the forefront of busy and cluttered lives. Though Black Rock Retreat is not a completely silent venue, the Silent Sanctuary Retreats offer spaces of silence and solitude in the middle of the symphony of life. This retreat provides opportunity to learn how to practice peace and rest in spite of outside melodies. Held in the lovely and comfortable Maranatha Retreat Center, the Silent Sanctuary Retreat will include extended hours of reflection with optional resources for you to make the most of your time with God such as prayer stations, handouts and music and art areas. Included in the weekend is an optional “Tools for Purposeful Pursuit of Jesus” session led by local artist Priscilla Williams. Black Rock Retreat is the perfect location for guests to see God’s handiwork as they meander along the trails or sit on the deck or enjoy the warmth of a fireplace. Also available is a Prayer Labyrinth for all guests to “walk the path”.
