On Saturday, September 14, don’t miss the second annual Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences’ 5K Scrub Run/Walk! The 5K race begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, at PA College and weaves throughout the Greenfield Corporate Center.
Awards will be given to the first overall male and female, and top three males and top three females in age groups 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Additionally, door prizes using runner numbers will be randomly drawn post-race. Must be present to win.
Participants must register online in advance – there will be no race day registrations.

All aboard! Thomas the Tank Engine invites little engineers to go full steam ahead for a day of engaging activities and fun adventures at Day Out With Thomas: The Steam Team Tour 2019. Children are invited to spend a day with their friend Thomas when the #1 Engine pulls into Strasburg Rail Road on Sept. 14 – 22. Day Out With Thomas: The Steam Team Tour 2019 is presented by Mattel.

This fun-filled event offers children and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series. In addition, they will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway, and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities including toy play, photo ops, and more. The tour, now in its 24th year, will make 37 stops across the U.S. and Canada and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2019.

Your perfect pumpkin is waiting to be picked!

Few experiences are more synonymous with fall than pumpkin picking and Country Barn is one of Lancaster's favorite pick-your-own pumpkin destinations! You can jump on board one of our wagons for a ride out to our giant pumpkin patch weekends September-October. Enjoy the beauty of Lancaster Farmland in the fall, as you explore over 10 acres of pumpkins. Whether you are looking for just one special pumpkin or you plan to bring home a wagon full, you’ll have a great time.

Wagon Rides are $1 per person (or included in your Barnyard Kingdom admission). Pumpkins are priced per pound.

Acres and acres of pumpkins available to be picked right from the vine! If you can’t make it out to the pumpkin patch, the Farm Market has a wonderful selection available

Servant Stage presents; The Music Man! This Broadway classic is an all-American institution with quirky characters and a one-of-a-kind, nostalgic score. The Music Man follows traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City into organizing a boys’ band, despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. Harold doesn’t count on falling in love with the town librarian however, and what ensues is a fast-paced romantic comedy the whole family will love!

It's almost time for pumpkins, falling leaves and crisp nights and our favorite way to spend those fall evenings is around a campfire with friends enjoying an ooey, gooey s'more. Enjoy a crisp fall evening on the farm with friends and family at Barnyard Kingdom around the glow of a campfire! Saturday nights (and Friday October evenings) are our Flashlight Maze & Campfire Nights! Enjoy the campfire, roast marshmallows and get lost in our 5-acre corn maze after dark. Don't forget to bring your flashlights!
