Lancaster County does fireworks well. The Saturday-night display at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm runs every weekend from late May to mid-October. Lititz Springs Park runs one of the oldest continuous Fourth of July celebrations in the country, going back to 1818. Long's Park held its annual patriotic concert and fireworks on June 28, an early kickoff to the season. Marietta, Manheim, and the Star Barn round out the Fourth itself. This is the working list, by date.

150 Cherry Hill Road, Ronks. The headline weekend fireworks. Every Saturday during the park's open season, included with daytime admission: jumping pillows, the corn maze, pedal carts, and 60-plus other attractions, then fireworks at dusk. June 28: Long's Park (concluded for 2026)
Long's Park held its annual free patriotic concert, drone show, and fireworks finale on Sunday, June 28, 2026, not July 4. The crowd packed the lawn at 1441 Harrisburg Pike for a 7:30 PM concert and a fireworks finale after dark. No tickets, no admission, free parking on-site and along Harrisburg Pike. The 2026 event has concluded; Long's Park runs it in late June, so check the Long's Park listing for next summer's date. For the Fourth itself, the four events below are your options.
July 4: the big four
4th of July at Lititz Springs Park
24 North Broad Street, Lititz. The oldest continuous Independence Day celebration in the United States, running since 1818. Gates open at 12:00 PM after a morning security sweep; the Lions Club Patriotic Parade rolls through downtown Lititz at 11:00 AM. Afternoon brings the Baby Parade, twenty-plus food trucks, live bands, and a Kid Zone with crafts and games from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. The 8:30 PM Queen of the Candles ceremony lights the park's namesake candles, followed at 9:30 PM by a music-synchronized finale of fireworks, drones, and lasers. Admission ticket required; tickets go on sale around June 1 at lititz4thofjuly.com.
Marietta Fireworks
1090 West Main Street, Mount Joy / Marietta border. Free community fireworks display funded by donations through the Marietta Fireworks committee. Held in the field behind the West Main Street viewing area; the show fires after dark (usually around 9:00 PM, weather permitting). Bring lawn chairs and bug spray. Cars and Kaboom at The Junction Center
1875 Junction Road, Manheim. Car show plus fireworks on the holiday itself. Gates and the cruise-in open mid-afternoon, food trucks and a beer garden line the lot, and fireworks fire at dark over the corn fields behind the venue. Family-friendly; bring chairs.
Independence Day at Star Barn Village
1, Stone Gables Estate, Elizabethtown. A full-day country celebration on the grounds of the restored 1872 Star Barn. Gates at 3:00 PM, homemade ice cream, pony rides, reptile shows, food trucks, live music, and fireworks at 9:00 PM. Paid admission; check the venue's listing for current ticket details.
Pick by what you want from the day
If you want the spectacle: Lititz Springs Park. The drone-and-laser-and-fireworks combo is the most produced show in the county. The ticketed gate keeps the crowd manageable. Plan to be there the full day; the morning parade and the afternoon programming are half the experience.
If you have small kids: Star Barn. Ice cream, pony rides, and a 9:00 PM fireworks start means small humans can see the show and still be home before 10:30. Cherry Crest works the same way on the Saturday-night calendar.
If you want it free and low-key: Marietta. The river-town vibe, a community-funded show, and short drive home along Route 441.
If you want car show plus fireworks: Cars and Kaboom at the Junction Center. The only July 4 event in the county with a serious cruise-in attached.
Practical notes
Arrive early. Lititz tickets are date-and-time stamped but the parking shuts down before sunset. Cherry Crest sells out July 4 admission most years.
Bring chairs, bug spray, and water. Every venue is outdoors. The county runs hot and humid in early July; the bugs come out at dusk; cooler bags work at all five.
Watch the weather. Most events fire rain-or-shine but will postpone for lightning. Check the venue's site or social channels the morning of if the forecast is shaky.
Save the date for the rest of the summer. Cherry Crest's Saturday-night calendar is the dependable backup if you miss July 4 or want to see fireworks twice. The last 2026 show is October 17.
