Farmers Markets in Lancaster County, PA

Lancaster County's market culture is the oldest in America. Lancaster Central Market, Lancaster's downtown farmers market and in continuous operation since 1730, anchors Penn Square three days a week. Go on a Tuesday for Long's Horseradish, Saife's lebanon bologna, and Lancaster County Coffee Roasters. Outside the city, the Amish-run markets at Bird-in-Hand and Root's Country Market (Manheim) draw weekend crowds, and the Green Dragon in Ephrata is the Friday-only farmer's flea-market hybrid that draws regulars from three states.
