Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center

The Appell Center at 50 N George Street in York operates two historic theaters, the Strand and the Capitol, programming Broadway tours, concerts, comedy, dance, films, and a family series. The center reaches roughly 16,000 students annually through workshops and the ConnecTix free-ticket program (1,314 distributed since 2022). Schedule runs year-round.
