The lecture's will be presented by Ornithologist, Dan Hinnebusch from Wild Birds Unlimited (next door).
Dan has nine years of experience as a professional wildlife biologist and environmental scientist, including four years with Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. Dan teaches classes about birds and ecology for Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He also participates locally in the Breeding Bird Survey, an annual international count of birds at selected points to monitor changes in bird populations. Dan

Final First Friday Organ Concert for 2019

On First Friday, November 1, organist Larry Hershey will play the mighty vintage 1958 analog Allen organ for the final “Organic Reflections” concert of 2019 at First Reformed Church, 40 E Orange Street in downtown Lancaster. This series of free 30 minute concerts is a gift to the community from First Reformed Church, a center city congregation of the United Church of Christ. Only 30 minutes in length, the free concerts begin at 8 PM each First Friday for the convenience of those who wish to spend the early evening visiting downtown galleries before the concert. Doors open at 7:30 pm. All are welcome to hear 30 minutes of classical organ music that will refresh your soul and inspire your spirit.
