PhotOle Photography

PhotOle Photography is Ole Hongvanthong's working portrait and commercial studio on East Chestnut Street, next door to Hamilton Watch and behind Square One Coffee. Founded in 2005 after seven years at a national studio in Harrisburg, PhotOle moved through four downtown Lancaster locations before settling on Chestnut Street. The studio specializes in corporate, LinkedIn, and acting headshots, brand and personal-brand photography, event coverage, and same-day passport photos to international standards. PhotOle is also the only studio in Lancaster offering authentic tintype and wet-plate portraits, the 1850s-era chemical process; Ole is writing a book on it. Clients range from local farmers and advocacy leaders to Fortune 500 CEOs. The studio was featured in The New York Times in 2014. By appointment.
