Featuring Miss Lancaster County Marissa Whitmer, Miss Red Rose City Jenna Martorana and Miss Lancaster County's Outstanding Teen Sierra Anastasi, all three ladies will be guest hosts for the morning as you grab breakfast aboard an authentic P70 Pennsylvania Railroad Car.

Guests will have the opportunity to learn and speak with each of the ladies about their own personal platforms, which include Alzheimer's Disease, Helping Families through Infant Loss, and Mental Illness Awareness. There will also be an opportunity for photos!

Shigeko Sasamori, Hiroshima Bombing Survivor and one of the so-called Hiroshima Maidens, was a thirteen-year-old walking down the street with her friend and schoolmate when she looked up in childish wonderment as they saw an airplane pass overhead. A peculiar object fell from the aircraft and, within seconds, a raucous, resounding ‘boom’ blasted around them and Ms. Sasamori was knocked to the ground. The world went black. Ms. Sasamori woke from the darkness to a city in ruin and to those in her community - dead or injured. Join us as she shares her story of miraculously surviving severe trauma and burns and her work toward peace.

Ms. Sasamori is being invited back to campus following her visit five years ago because we were so touched as she shared her firsthand experience and testimony of what she is doing for peace.
