40TH ANNUAL ROTARY OF LANCASTER / FRANKLIN & MARSHALL COLLEGE CHARITABLE BASKETBALL EXTRAVAGANZA TO BENEFIT LANCASTER YOUTH
Lancaster, October 23, 2019 - The Rotary Club of Lancaster, in partnership with Franklin & Marshall College, proudly presents the 40th annual Rotary Club of Lancaster–F&M Charitable Basketball Extravaganza on November 15, 16, and 17, 2019 at F&M’s Mayser Gymnasium. The Extravaganza is a basketball tournament featuring eight top Men’s and Women’s NCAA Division III teams. The men’s William Marshall Tip-Off Tournament, features F&M, Lancaster Bible College, Marywood University, and Christopher Newport University. The women’s Terry Greene Memorial Tournament features F&M, Elizabethtown College, Wilkes and William Smith College. Rock Ford Plantation, in collaboration with Theater of the Seventh Sister, is pleased to present “The Matchmaker: A Tale Drawn from ‘Emma’ by Jane Austen.” This one-act play, adapted from the classic novel, will be presented in the candlelit rooms of the Rock Ford mansion on November 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22. Each performance will run approximately 50 minutes with scenes taking place in each of the four parlors on the main floor and in the central hallway of the circa 1794 mansion. Limited to 20 guests per performance. Reservations required.
