Friendship Community is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Through day programs such as the Heart Art Gallery & Market, Heart Studio, and residential services, Friendship Community supports individuals in living with independence while still receiving the resources they need to thrive.

Whether Valentine’s Day came and went—or you’re simply not done celebrating love—this Glassblowing Workshop is the perfect excuse for a creative date night or a fun, low-pressure evening with friends. This experience is all about making something memorable together.
Designed with beginners in mind, this hands-on experience is led by master glassblower Michael Peluso, who brings over 20 years of expertise to guide you through the magic of this ancient, 2,000-year-old art form. You’ll get an up-close look at molten glass in motion and create a one-of-a-kind heart-shaped bud vase to take home.
